Hi, my name is Jana. As the loving owner of a furry friend, a Shiba Inu named Darth Vader, we faced a problem when deciding where to go to a cafe in our beautiful city of Oslo. Living outside of the city, we often found that many establishments did not respond to our requests by mail or had no information on whether they were dog-friendly πΎ. This led to frequent searching and frustration when we arrived at a facility and it did not turn out to be a welcoming environment for our pet.
However, we have found that the situation is not much better in Ski, where we live. Dog-friendly places are not as plentiful as we would like, and many establishment owners don't make a big deal of it π€·ββοΈ.
We had a collection of dog-friendly places, which we actively shared on social networks and personal blogs. It was not very convenient π. That's how the project came into being.
That's where our story began. We also created an Instagram account for him to attract more people @DOF-FRIENDLY OSLO πΈ.
That's why we decided to create DogFriendlyMapOslo - a community that will unite all dog lovers in our city and beyond. We aim to create a culture of dog-friendly establishments where everyone and their furry friends can enjoy a good time together π.
Add your favorite places and share your experiences. Meet other dog people and create friendly get-togethers π.
Join our blog and share your experiences! Here you will find useful tips and, of course, discuss the best cafes for you and your four-legged friend πΎ.
Let's make our city more friendly to our four-legged friends together! Feel free to send us updates on new places or places that have "closed the door" either for good or to bring the dog.
If you have photos of dogs at the cafe, send them to us at πΒ **[email protected]** and we'll add your photo βΊοΈπΈπΆ
